Today there are more reasons than ever to consider "going solar".

WHY CONSIDER GOING SOLAR:

• Solar is a clean and abundant form of energy.

• A  Photovoltaic, or a Solar electric system, is a wonderful alternative  if you are looking to reduce your energy costs.  In some cases, a solar electric system can even reduce your electric utility cost up to 100 percent.

• Besides cost reduction, a solar electric system can add value to your building, help you become energy independent and make you an environmentally responsible home or business.

• There are rebates  and other incentives to help offset the total cost of your system. There are several payment options available and here are a few;

• Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and business loans for commercial, equity loans and lines of credit for residential to just name a few.  The options will be based on the remaining amount of the cost.  We can help you with this process and we always recommend speaking with your CPA for financial guidance.

Something else to consider:

• The age of your roof.  Is it fairly new or are you is it in need of replacement now or in the near future.

• The amount of space available on your roof and the direction are both important but not the only determining factors. The space needs to be large enough to accommodate the system and a south facing roof is the most desirable.  Although south facing is optimal, other directions can provide sufficient production of the photovoltaic system.   

• Are there any visible obstructions such as trees, higher pitches of the roof, telephone poles, and even other buildings that could shade your system and make it less efficient?  Although these are things to consider it does not stop you from investing into a solar electric system.  There are many options to consider and we'd be more than happy to explain details further.
